My client, a full-service digital media agency, is a well-known and respected name in the industry. With over 30 offices worldwide serving blue-chip clients, the team in London has grown to over 70-strong across Search, Display, Social, Email and Affiliate Marketing. The Display team is seeking an Account Manager to help service three existing international accounts in the Travel & Technology sectors.
ABOUT THE JOB:
Account Managers are the day-to-day focal point of the account. You’ll develop a complete understanding of your clients’ media business, as well as their overall business and marketing objectives.
This is a newly created role within the expanding Central Planning/Buying team. This team works across an international client base – and plans/buys centrally across a number of marketsIn terms of clients, you’d be looking after three existing international accounts in the Travel & Technology sectors. All clients are currently in a growth stage & have great potentialClient relationships are still in early stages (less than a year each). The aim for 2012 is to bring them more strategic thinking and implementation than they’ve been doingYou’ll be the steward of the media planning process and will provide mid-level strategic recommendations to the senior media team and/or the clientThe position is usually supported by the AE and reports to at least Account Director levelYou’ll have day-to-day management of the media plan including oversight of buy recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting
ABOUT YOU:
1 to 3 years of media planning/buying experience, including at least 1 year focused onlineStrong working knowledge of the media space (including traditional media) and available media researchSound skills in using media tools (ad serving, research) and procedures (both media and inter-department)Ideally you’ll have at least one language at your command, and will have experience in International planning & coordination
