Digital Production Executive - Publishing
As a Production Executive within the Digital team of this well known, London based News Publisher, you will be responsible for all aspects of the production of digital versions of their products. Working within the award winning digital team of this highly respected media brand, you will develop and implement processes and workflows to ensure the optimum delivery of content for digital readers. You will be critical to the success of the team, coordinating resources internally and externally, and managing the stringent quality control process to maintain the publication's position at the forefront of that market.
The core focus of this role is to develop, document and execute an efficient production process, and to work with both internal teams and third party providers to manage this on a week by week basis. You will be responsible for collating all digital content, including editorial and advertisement copy, and ensuring this is transmitted across the full range of digital products and platforms. In addition, you will manage the quality control process, work on ad hoc projects, and liaise with the online content team to help improve processes.
This role will require excellent organisational skills, and a deep knowledge of online and digital communication within a range of departments including editorial, ad operations, sales, creative, technical and marketing.
To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of commercial experience in a production role within a publishing environment, and ideally have experience with digital production. You should have a broad technical knowledge, encompassing both e-readers, data transmission methods and reporting, along with Adobe In-Design and bespoke software applications. You should be familiar with working with development teams to resolve technical issues, and strong communication, analytical and project coordination skills. In addition, you must have the confidence to manage third parties, to develop your own ideas, and to present to senior management.
