Architecture Capability Manager (FTSE 100 Co) 6 months, London
We are seeking an Architecture Capability Manager for an initial 6 month contract working in Canary Wharf.
You will have deep knowledge of TOGAF9 and TOGAF9 Practitioners Certification are essential requirements for this role.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organisation skills are essential to this role.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Head of Architecture Capability and Performance, and in conjunction with the Group EA Team:
Coordinate ongoing architecture team and community activities and events (Architecture Community days in UK and US)
Coordinate Architecture License to Work (LTW) training activities and track monthly compliance
Coordinate general architecture team communications (newsletters, web and Sharepoint site content)
Facilitate architect's compliance with the Architecture Common Process (ACP):
Assist architects as required in the use of tracking tools such as the Architecture Projects Tracker (APT) and the Standards Information Base (SIB)
Ensure that all architecturally significant projects are tracked in APT and have design reviews scheduled for each CVP stage
Follow up on overdue activities
Capture status information at regular intervals and report KPIs for management
Create training material in support of the above and deliver training to architects Embedded in project delivery
Improve the above processes: manage a hopper of continuous improvement activities in order to improve the useability and value of "soft" assets (Architect's Guide, ACP and APT, Architecture Repository Knowledgebase, and other tools)
