Senior SAS Analyst - Central London - 40-50K - SAS/SQL/CRM
My client is an Industry leader in Retail Analysis. Having been established for over 10 years, there is substantial growth within the UK and also internationally, which explains the need for some more analysts to be based at the Head office in London
The successful Senior SAS Analyst will have proven experience and technical capabilities in SAS/SQL or other technical tools but has also manipulated this data in order to create actionable insight for the business. Client facing skills are also an advantage.
The key day-to-day tasks of the Senior SAS Analyst include:- Lead projects from analytical side assuring that projects are completed within resource budget and to brief - Proactively manage delivery of project to clients by communicating progress and challenging the brief. - Hands on delivery of analytical projects using the most appropriate delivery tools - SAS, SQL, Excel
As a candidate, you should have experience in some of the technical tools listed above but more importantly gaining insight from large data sets and presenting these results back.
Key tributes of the Senior SAS Analyst include:- Experience in data interpretation - Experience in using SAS or SPSS - Able to communicate with clients and colleagues about how their insights can be used
Desirable - Previous experience in building statistical models (logistic regression, clustering etc) - Experience of presenting analytic findings to a non analytic audience. - Relevant industry sector knowledge - Experience of market research design and interpretation of findings
