This is a great opportunity to join a large global outsourcing company, in this new role created to increase their capacity to bring in more business.

There are 2 key aspects to this role:
Bid and Proposal Management
Transition Program and Project Management
This position serves as the key management delivery representative to the client during the initial stages of an outsourcing contract. Provides vision and strategy, executive oversight, and holistic systems integration program management for the complete transition life cycle. Oversees client relationship building, employee on-boarding, account setup, and up-front implementation of contracted technical and service delivery solutions to achieve specified performance and financial objectives

Your role will include the following responsibilities:
The role will require ensuring smooth daily operation and services delivery of a team of professional specialists, whilst working closely with multiple customer contacts and the wider organisation to ensure successful execution of Major Programs and Projects
Specific duties include the development of transition plans, transition schedules, cost models which cover project management costs, capture of risks, assumptions, provision of responses to tender clauses and facilitation of bid approval. Other responsibilities may include client presentations of bid material, participation in best and final offers, due diligence, contract negotiations and post deal reviews aimed at process improvement
Utilises Information Technology (IT) services experience to support the creation of the transition strategy and plan
Acts as the lead &ambassador& for the transition, visibly owning the people-related transition concerns and queries
Manages an array of client and internal relationships at all levels, often across multiple companies/divisions/continents
Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas
Creates proposal and fee schedules and billing processes to communicate account progress to client and management
You will have the following skills and experience:

Solid experience working for a large outsourcing company
10+ years of successful program and project management, with experience of infrastructure projects including:
Networks
Desktops
Servers
Data Centres
Service Desks
Start-up experience in Transition management or as a Service Delivery Manager, Account Executive, or Account Program Management Office Director
Managing 10-20 Project Managers reporting to you all delivering to the Program that you are responsible for
Sales experience - working on proposals and seeking outsourcing contracts and your knowledge of the sales process; able to demonstrate success at winning tenders
Experience at the proposal stage of defining the program of work required and then once the bid has been won, determining the program.
Experience in integration, development, and deployment of large scale, multi-platform, multi-vendor information systems
Large-scale program management of large multi-discipline teams (both offshore and virtual), including strong management and communications skills, service delivery, client relations, planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial management and earned value, resource management, QA, negotiations, contract negotiation and management
Demonstrated understanding of the commercial outsourcing business
Business development and proposal presentation experience - shaping value propositions with clients, crafting solutions, driving proposals
Managing and leading in a highly-matrixed organisation
