Role: Technical Manager
Location: Brisbane
Our client is a leading provider of asset support solutions for the offshore and onshore hydrocarbon industry throughout Australasia has an immediate requirement for an experienced Technical Manager to join their dynamic team.
As Technical Manager you will be involved in the development and preparation of tenders for new build LNG Projects in QLD and PNG. You will be responsible for the complete tender process and work with Business Development to ensure a winning strategy'. Upon award of the contract you will transition into the role of Contract Manager where you will be responsible for the successful Execution of the contract. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a proven ability to manage a complex and significant project involving Maintenance, brownfield engineering, construction and project management. The projects are QLD and PNG based and the successful candidate must be prepared to re-locate. Integral to both roles is ensuring optimal delivery of value to client and preservation of company interests and reputation.
To be considered you will possess:
A minimum of 10 years previous experience at a similar level
Significant experience in LNG operations linked to Maintenance and engineering
Experience in operating in diverse multi-cultural environments
You will also possess the following;
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Local industry knowledge
Contract and project management experience
Proactive approach to change management
Excellent leadership and communication skills
International site experience
Client interface and liaison skills
