We are looking for a Retail Merchandiser to visit pet stores in the Edmonton area. This is a part-time opportunity with a very flexible schedule that could work around school or another job. Competitive hourly rate of pay.
Job Overview:
Provide service in retail stores for CLA’s vendors’ products. The RM may be asked to carry out any and/or all of the following:
• Demonstration of products for special events
• Timely completion of store sets and resets
• Complete specific objectives in assigned stores and/or travel to multiple stores to carry out monthly objectives
• Assist customers in retail stores by suggesting CLA products
• Conduct inventory audits
• Process vendor returns
• Promote sales
Applicants should have:
· Previous experience working as a merchandiser or retail clerk preferred
· Ability to develop and maintain relations with retail store personnel
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Have access to the internet and experience with online reporting
· Proven ability to work independently with little supervision
· Stay current with industry trends and new products
· Solid problem solving skills
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must have a passion for pets and/or horses
· Employment will be contingent upon satisfactory completion of the necessary background check and acceptable driving record
