My client are a Sydney based not for profit organisation set up to to connect with young people through the media they use, providing comprehensive resources and support to improve their mental health and well-being. They are currently seeking a Major Supporter Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the CEO, The person in this role will work closely with the CEO and Inspire Board to identify prospects for significant personal gifts, cultivate a relationship, make asks, and provide feedback. They will also work with the Managing Director of Fundraising and Communications to identify prospects from the corporate, and trust and foundations sectors.
Main responsibilities include
Strategy Development and Execution
Leadership of projects and relationship management framework
Project management; Managing project proposals, project workflows, and progress reporting.
Relationship management with Key supporters, fundraising managers and donor care manager.
Integrated Communications working alongside the F&C team
Essential Skills
Degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to secure funds from individuals/corporate/Trusts and Foundations
Strong communicator with ability to convey stories in a compelling way and generate strong case
for supporting a charitable cause
Proven ability to manage Board members/senior management
Proven ability to nurture and grow partnerships
Demonstrated experience in project management
Demonstrated ability to measure performance of fundraising/partnership projects undertaken
Demonstrated interest and ability to work collaboratively with young people
Desirable skills
FIA Qualifications
ADMA Certificate or equivalent
Project Management qualification
Active engagement in social media space, eg blogger, Facebook, Twitter, Google
